Why supply consistency matters more than price in drilling chemicals

A lower quote is easy to compare; inconsistent performance between batches is not — and it's almost always the more expensive problem in practice.
When a new batch doesn't behave like the last one, crews end up re-calibrating dosage and mixing time on site, often mid-job. That lost time, plus any rework it causes, routinely outweighs whatever was saved on a cheaper unit price.
The more reliable way to evaluate a supplier isn't the invoice alone — it's whether they can show batch traceability and consistent documentation across repeat orders, not just on the first sample that won the business.
